Earlier this year Buff announced the launch of four new products as part of its Winter Chill Killer range for winter 10/11. We managed to get our hands on the four new entries to the Buff family, and have put them to the test to let you know how they rate.
The four new products added to the Winter Chill Killer range have all been designed to keep the wearer super warm, combining Polartec fleece and Gore-Tex windstopper fabrics with the original Buff polyester microfibre.
They’re suitable wear for pretty much every outdoor activity from skiing to mountain biking and are in keeping with Buff’s cool image.

It must be the week of curious technology. I’ve had on test a knee support from a company called Accapi – and it uses infrared emissions to work its magic. Interesting.
I’ll do the science bit first, and then how it worked for me in practice. The Nexus Bodyguard Knee Guard Action is made from Nexus Energy Source technology. Nexus ES fibre, as they call it, is produced with three precious elements – platinum, titanium and aluminium – and apparently produces natural and constant infrared emissions that improve blood circulation. Nexus ES also supports the oxygenation of the muscles and the thermal regulation of the body. Not only that, it helps you recover from exercise faster. Keeping up?
